Liepaja State Technical School, established in 1920, is one of the leading vocational training center in Latvia. With 1,200 students and 130 teachers, we offer more than 20 specialties in fields such as catering, hospitality, building, commerce, woodcraft, textile, mechatronics, energetics, metalworking, IT, transport, and logistics. We provide professional education programs ranging from the 1st to the 3rd qualification level, aimed at preparing experts for a competitive labor market. Additionally, we facilitate international student exchanges to broaden horizons and improve our study programs. The school collaborates closely with local authorities, state entities, and non-governmental organizations. It actively engages with employers to enhance educational content and practical training. Over the past decade, it has gained valuable international experience through participation in various Erasmus+ and international projects. The school's vision is to become the leading vocational institution in the region, offering internationally recognized programs with the involvement of both Latvian and foreign professionals. The institution's 2027 development strategy emphasizes its commitment to incorporating green skills into education and providing learners with opportunities to integrate these skills into their daily lives.
