As the CEO and Co-founder of Sensmet Ltd, a rising start-up company, I am pushing real-time water analytics beyond the state of the art. It was an eye opening moment during my post-doctoral studies at the University of Cambridge, UK to realise how limited real-time water measurements are. Industrial water processes are being run far from their full capacity and real-time monitoring of environmental water quality is also severely limited. I have got 15 years' international experience in R&D, measurement science&technology, project management, team leadership, funding procurement, entrepreneurship, lecturing and networking. I am a keen black belt level practitioner of Lean Six Sigma, actively improving industrial process efficiency.
