I am amazed by coastal wetlands and particularly interested in the biogeochemical cycling, as well as their potential as nature-based solutions in disaster risk reduction and climate change mitigation. Currently I am working together with scientists from different disciplines on a comprehensive analysis of coastal and marine hazards and their effects on society.
