Personal description | Stefan Pietrzak works at the Institute of Technology and Life Sciences – National Research Institute in Falenty as a professor. His scope of scientific activity includes in particular the following issues: recognising the state of pollution of waters by nutrients, in particular nitrogen and phosphorus; diagnosing the type and degree of risk to water quality posed by agricultural activities; preventing, reducing and eliminating water pollution from agricultural sources; studying the flow of nutrients in agricultural systems; nutrient management on the farm; assessment of agrochemical status of grassland soils. He has considerable experience in national and international research and education projects. |
