The Union of the Provinces of the Republic of Poland (organization's name in Polish: Związek Województw Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej) is an organization that implements goals related to supporting the idea of local government, defending the common interests of provinces (voivodeships) and their social and economic development. Representatives of the Union make sure that government bills contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of citizens in such diverse regions of Poland. There are a number of thematic teams within the organization, bringing together highly specialized officials with a highly specialized focus on topics such as health care, infrastructure, rural development and many others.
