Alytus City Theater is the only professional theater in Southern Lithuania. The theater was founded in 1988 and marks the 34th theater season already. Here works 13 actors, 37 employees. The team have 10 years projects implementation experience. Theather is known as strong partner in implemented projects su as “People Power Partnership” and “Theater is Cool” (financed by program Creative Europe), as well the international festival COM • MEDIA, which is already well known and visible by local stakeholders. Theater vision: Alytus city theater – open space, open dialogue, open person. Theather mission: to spread the art of theater and present it to the public, to create conditions for creators and performers, to go into an open dialogue with the audience, promoting citizenship, tolerance, good social relations. We are ready for joint project – lets create and implement projects together!
