Project manager and technology consultant in the Latvian Technological Center. Physicist by education, PhD degree in biophysics. Has worked in responsible positions in the Ministry of Education and Science, has been a director of semi-private consultancy company and for many years has been FP7 and H2020 National Contact Point (NCP) in thematic areas nanosciences, nanotechnologies, materials & new production technologies as well as SMEs. Co-author and editor of several books on Latvian R&D system, e.g. “R&D in Latvia”, 1999, 2002, 2005, 2008. Has experience of participation in many local and international projects.
