Personal description | Administration of Druskininkai Municipality is the public institution consisting of structural and territorial parts. The administration is working under the Constitution of the Respublic of Lithuania, the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Local Self-government, local and public government acts and legislations. The main activity of the administration of Druskininkai municipality is the organization of public activities and provision of public services (health care, education, cultural, maintenance of public infrastructure, public transport, utility services, consulting and support in private property area, creation of favourable conditions for business and tourism). The head of administration is the director who is subordinate to decisions of city council and is reporting to the mayor. The Municipality of Druskininkai has self-sufficient budget which is approved by the city council. Administration of Druskininkai Municipality is among the leaders in Lithuania in the aspect of implementation of projects that are financed by EU as well as by Lithuanian funds. |
