Dr. Jörgen Held has a long record within the energy sector as the former managing director of the Swedish Gas Technology Centre, the head of research at CEDER/CIEMAT in Spain, research manager at the Swedish Energy Agency, PhD in fluid mechanics and MSc in energy technology. He is currently the Executive Managing Director of the Baltic Energy Innovation Centre and the CEO of Renewable Energy Technology International AB. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Council of the European Biogas Association and the main organiser of the annual International Conference on Renewable Energy Gas Technology (REGATEC).
