I am the chairman of the board of the Latvian Sustainable Procurement Association. I would greatly appreciate it if I could get involved in the Interreg project, I am looking for cooperation partners. From 2014 to 2023, I have worked in the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of the Republic of Latvia with green public procurement issues, developing regulatory framework, advising procurement specialists on green public procurement issues. In 2020, it developed amendments to the 2017 Cabinet of Ministers regulations No. 353 "Requirements for green public procurement and their application procedure". I have developed amendments to Cabinet of Ministers regulations No. 353, revising green procurement criteria for several groups of goods and services. Works in the "Green public procurement Advisory Board" of the European Commission. I conduct lectures on green public procurement in Latvia for procurement specialists. I educate students at Latvian university about sustainable development, Green Deal, green procurement, sustainable procurement, circular procurement, circular economy. PhD candidate and researcher at the University of Latvia, Faculty of Business, Management and Economics. The topic of the doctoral thesis is related to the impact of green public procurement on the national economy. Inese Pelša has participated in 15 international scientific conferences in 8 countries (Germany, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Spain, Lithuania, Thailand, Croatia, Latvia) and developed 10 scientific publications, which are indexed (Web of Science, Scopus databases).
