Personal description | TalTech Academy of Architecture and Urban Design research group develops research at the intersection of architectural and urban design with building science and technology, sustainable design, climatic and environmental design, through performance-driven and digital design. The research work is finalized to develop solutions, methods and tools to help designers and planners tackling the pressing issues of resource depletion, healthiness and climate change applying sustainable, human centered and ecological design strategies. The group conducts research using building performance simulations with focus on daylight, energy use and generation, indoor and outdoor thermal comfort, nature-based solutions and LCA assessment. |
