Personal description

Evolving YOUth is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth through support and promotion of initiatives that foster intellectual, creative, and cultural development. Our mission is rooted in the belief that non-formal education and experiential learning are crucial for personal growth and community engagement. We engage in a variety of educational activities, including seminars, workshops, and training sessions, in partnership with local educational institutions such as schools, educational centers, and universities. Our focus is on introducing innovative educational methodologies to young individuals, youth leaders, and youth workers, thereby contributing to the advancement of civil society. Our organization also plays a vital role in providing information about available learning, volunteering, and employment opportunities at both local and international levels. We assist young people in navigating the application processes for these programs and facilitate their participation by offering consultations and acting as a sending organization. Our efforts particularly target marginalized and disadvantaged youth who face socio-economic, educational, and geographical challenges. Evolving YOUth has significant experience participating in the Erasmus+ program and has organized international activities centered on intercultural dialogue, inclusion, media literacy, digital tools, financial literacy, theatre, gamification, among others. We are proud members of TDM2000 International, a network comprising 30 organizations across 23 countries. This network coordinates, implements, supports, and disseminates activities primarily focused on Education and Training for Capacity Building, International Cooperation for Development, and Mobility for Intercultural Learning. Additionally, Evolving YOUth is affiliated with Latvijas Jaunatnes Padome, which consists of 48 NGOs. This council aims to enhance youth work by strengthening the capacities of its member organizations. It also seeks to inform society about youth policy issues while promoting civic engagement among young people to foster a democratic environment in Latvia.
