The core business of Łukasiewicz – Łódź Institute of Technology is the implementation of research projects and international cooperation in the field of scientific research, development and commercialization. Łukasiewicz – ŁIT implements projects contributed to the development of innovative solutions compatible with the textile industry, especially in the field of circular economy, biomedicine and technology digitization. Its activities cover 4 key research areas of the Łukasiewicz Research Network: Digital Transformation, Smart Mobility, Sustainable Economy and Energy, and Health. Łukasiewicz – Łódź Institute of Technology belongs to the Łukasiewicz Research Network, the third largest research network in Europe. It is an integrated market player providing attractive, complete and competitive business and technological solutions in the areas of automation, chemistry, biomedicine, ICT, materials and advanced manufacturing. In addition to its core activities, the Institute carries out i.e.: • research projects in the field of scientific research and development, • production of unique research equipment and unique materials, • development of innovation, prototypes of new technological solutions on the basis of research projects carried out by entities of the higher education and science system, • conducts courses and training.
