Youth Culture Clusters in BSR (YCC-BSR)
active 4 months, 3 weeks agoThe idea of the project is to create cultural clusters for young people involved in culture to support their activities and, above all, to create institutional support for cooperation in the field of culture in the entire BSR.
The project aims to carry out pilot activities as a result of which public institutions are to respond to social needs and create conditions for a sustainable increase in the potential of the social and institutional volume in the area of young people’s culture.
Due to the increasing number of more diverse social challenges during and after the most intense period of the
COVID19 pandemic to date, the project is to directly determine the possibilities of supporting institutional activity and activities in two areas at the same time: culture and young people. The end result is in improving the organizational structures and processes that respond to the public needs of young people and influences social activation, social connections and their sustainability in the area of youth culture in the BSR also through institutional involvement in the creation of public services and sustainable social structures.
The defined goal of the project is to create an institutional and administrative structure to support the activities and cultural initiatives of young people in the BSR. This structure is to be created on the basis of institutions working for young people of which the end result is in the creation of a structure under the BSR entitled cultural clusters for young people.
Institutions within the framework of the BSR are to ensure cultural development, which at the initial stage will simultaneously develop a permanent network of cooperation within the BSR and initiate joint supra-regional projects – so as to work towards a common identity of young people in the
socio-cultural area of the BSR.
The project aims to directly create a sanctioned institutional structure of “youth cultural clusters” within the BSR which will be linked to each other by an ongoing network of cooperation. This will mainly involve the exchange of information on current cultural initiatives in individual regions in order to establish cooperation within these regions, but will also initiate international cooperation in the BSR for Youth Culture – mainly by initiating projects for bottom-up initiatives or joining through an institutional network of non-institutionalized partners from individual regions. Additionally, there will be an exchange of experiences and ongoing cooperation for the development of young people’s culture. Clusters can also initiate among themselves projects for the development and stimulation of the BSR culture in the environment of young people. The aim is to integrate and develop as well as to create a cooperation network for the culture of young people.
