The project aims to enhance energy resilience and accelerate the transition to climate-neutral energy systems on Baltic Sea archipelago islands in Finland, Sweden, and Baltics. By integrating local renewable sources (solar, wind, tidal, and biomass) with smart microgrids and energy storage, the project will reduce reliance on costly mainland electricity. Through cross-border cooperation, it will align energy policies, test scalable technical solutions, and involve communities in co-creating sustainable energy models tailored to island needs.
