Positive impact on social interactions in relation to socio-economic results and in relation to soc
active 8 months, 3 weeks agoThe area that has suffered the most recently (due to the COVID19 pandemic) is the social area. In particular, it was the young people, those not related to each other by formal or partnership relations and relations within the BSR to the same extent as public institutions or enterprises who also suffered. In addition, public institutions or businesses have made reasonable efforts to maintain ties despite the conditions of the COVID19 pandemic, which was not necessary the same in the case of the young people.
In addition, due to the recent events in Ukraine we see how important it is to strengthen ties in the region – not only to ensure efficient cooperation, but also to ensure functioning in a stable manner in the framework of mutual acquaintance and acceptance which eliminate divisions.
The project will aim to set the most effective standards for building social and institutional connections – in the case of the project in the area of young people – in order to create recommendations mainly for cooperation purposes and, importantly, to function as tools for other project initiatives or cooperation. The most effective methods and activities for building social and institutional connections which translates into quality and durability of cooperation is the basis for building a stable sub-region
An important element, also in the context of the future, is the development of lasting links between young people. This is important in the context of future BSR regions cooperation and mutual understanding of the global needs of young people. The best formula must be found to build and foster these links within the BSR – as creating future potential.
The project proposes to develop a formula for creating these connections and, most importantly, to develop a tool that gives a comprehensive picture of the activities carried out, including all effects, including unintended effects – both obtaining the result of positive and negative impacts of the activities carried out.
The project is intended to be a pilot activity.
The activities will consist in creating by the partners various areas of cooperation and social contact between young people within the BSR. The project will have two results:
1. Developing a list of activities most effective and desired in the context of building social relations between young people within the BSR with elements of institutional connections.
2. Testing and introducing the Theory of Change research tool to the standard of projects as a tool for building a feedback response to intended and unintended goals, i.e. giving the most comprehensive and holistic feedback response to the activities carried out.
The project will set two goals to be achieved and the activities will focus on their implementation:
1. Determining the most effective activities and standards, including the scope of participation of public institutions – mainly local government and NGOs, to create and build lasting connections and structures focused on young people in the BSR region – activities will be carried out for this purpose (meetings of young people and institutions, creating exchanges of scope of activities between institutions caring for young people, looking for the possibility of creating independent connections using remote tools) Individual types of pilot activities will be implemented by selected partners in cooperation with others according to the principle that one partner guides and carries out one type of activity.
End goal: to develop a set of socially and economically beneficial activities for the integration and connection of youth communities within the BSR
2. To examine the conducted pilot activities consisting in building connections in youth communities in the BSR (item 1) with the help of the Theory of Change in order to illustrate the overall socio-economic impact of each of the activities and to conduct a pilot test of the application of the Theory of Change in projects with a social dimension. Full supervision over the activity will be the focus of the lead partner – West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
End goal: demonstrating the possibility of applying Theory of Change in social projects for the purpose of reverse analysis of benefits, taking into account the economic impact.
