Place based innovation ecosystems for countryside competitiveness

The evolution of digitalisation makes it even more viable to contribute for a global change. In the future digital twins and metaverse will be daily tools for creating sustainable development for long-term impact. The opportunities will revitalize in ways which we can not even imagine.
A local ecosystem can link the local with the global. By using our knowledge, we can build place based innovation. That will be an ecosystem. The starting point is regional development. Use what we have. This is where smart specialisation strategy (S3) becomes a facilitator. Place based innovation is the future way. There is no given route. But we can learn from each other. The idea of this project is related to innovation ecosystems sharing practices and experiences. In such way we create more understanding and strengthen our case. When doing that together with build competitiveness in Baltic Sea Regions.
