Innovation Value Chain Orchestaror: Promoting Digital Transformation in the Public Care
active 5 months, 4 weeks agoThe Innovation value chain (IVC) defines roles for different stakeholders, e.g., public care providers and NGOs, Universities of Applied Sciences, IT suppliers, citizens, etc. Due to its unique legislative status in different BSR countries, UAS could serve as an intermediary organization, granting start-up companies access to its Test Lab and simulation pre-piloting environments, conducting pilot documentation e.g. research on aspects such as usability and accessibility of digital solutions and data-driven practices, provide tools for ROI-calculations (return on investment) and through this documentation, corroborate collaboration and orchestrate organized discussions with public care providers responsible for providing access to real piloting environments (health care counties, municipalities, hospitals). UAS orchestrated IVC and validated pre-piloting practices enhance opportunities for start-ups to access real pilot environments in public care organizations.
Currently, numerous startups and digital innovations face difficulties acquiring access to actual pilot environments. To improve this, there is a need for IVC orchestrator that has a mandate to oversee and co-develop all phases of the IVC. Additionally, public social care providers should be given responsibility and budget for promoting regional innovations in a target-oriented manner. This can only be done by involving the political layer in the IVC. The argumentation of the pilot projects should be based on the mentioned documentation provided during the pre-pilot phase. The project focuses on development work, corroborating information sharing, and joint learning within and between the project countries.
We are looking for UAS as partners from 2-3 different counties with associated organizations (ealth care counties, municipalities, hospitals). For more information, please contact niko.lankinen@lab.fi
