GreenResilience 2.0 – Cross-Border Solar & Circular Communities
active 51 minutes agoGreenResilience 2.0 aims to strengthen the green transition capacity of small communities across the South Baltic region through renewable energy education, small-scale solar and water efficiency pilots, and circular economy learning.
The project will:
Develop and test a “Solar–Water Community Model” linking renewable energy and sustainable resource management at community and youth centre level;
Create educational toolkits and training programmes for children, youth, and municipalities;
Establish a South Baltic Green Network to exchange practices and replicate solutions;
Promote cross-border cooperation between NGOs, municipalities, and educational institutions in Lithuania, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, and Germany.
The initiative contributes to the transition towards green energy (Measure 2.1) and integrates aspects of water efficiency (2.2) and circular resource use (2.3), supporting practical learning and pilot demonstrations for resilient and climate-smart communities.
