GreenPathway – Empowering businesses to make sustainable choices
active 7 months, 2 weeks agoWith a growing regulatory landscape with new EU directives like the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and increased general awareness, companies face the need to disclose their environmental data and take action to reduce it. Though it leaves companies with new requirements, new opportunities arise to adapt circular economy approaches and be established as sustainable leader, by measuring and improving current operations. However, many small and medium sized production companies lack knowledge on the topic.
To tackle the lack of awareness, the project GreenPathway is providing an entry point to circular business models for SMEs and equipping them with tools to measure their climate impact and concrete means to implement sustainable practices. This is achieved through education on the topic, quantifying the climate impact by the individual businesses and thus helping them to develop their own strategies towards circular business models.
For realising this project, we are looking for a lead partner and project partners interested in sustainability within SMEs. Through expertise in regional challenges all over the BSR, knowledge of the local languages and profound interest in accelerating sustainability in businesses within their areas, partners take part in the development of the program, and its materials, to ensure their fit with regional requirements to achieve the best possible outcome
