Development of an intelligent platform for the identification and reuse of construction materials fr
active 6 months, 4 weeks agoDevelopment of a “materials bank” aimed at identifying, cataloging, analyzing, and updating the materials that make up the existing building stock. The database can be leveraged by multiple stakeholders and is aimed at two purposes: 1) extending the useful life of existing buildings; 2) promoting the re-use of building materials and elements at the end of the building service life.
Leveraging the developed platform, a prototype marketplace around materials, elements and their recorded data will be conceived, enforcing their use in the circular economy.
