Change your pink glasses to green ones
active 4 hours, 10 minutes agoThe project aims – to reduce the impact of climate change by shifting people’s mindset and behavior.
The “Green Region” Public Institution will contribute to raising public awareness and changing habits. Various educational events will be organized, focusing on environmental preservation, sustainable tourism, and public transportation. Additionally, an innovative educational museum on climate change is being developed, using advanced technologies and artificial intelligence to visualize how nature has evolved over centuries and how human actions shape the environment around us.
The project also includes interactive activities where participants will actively contribute to the results:
1. Educational sessions and training for tourism service providers on sustainable tourism practices.
2. Art installation from natural waste (promoting reuse and recycling).
3. Nature trails for hiking and cycling in Karšuva Forest – “Walking on the Sea Floor”, reflecting the fact that this forest was once under the sea and contains Lithuania’s highest geomorphological dunes.
4. Possibly summer camps for students, and more.
Estimated Budget: €70,000
Planned Infrastructure Investments:
1. Educational space with 5D technology – €120,000
