CaRe4Y. Catalyst for Creativity: Social Empowerment of Parentless Youth through Creative Practices
active 1 year, 10 months agoThe CaRe4Y project aim is to create an innovative, arts-based educational programme specifically designed for young people growing up in out-of-family care institutions in Latvia to help them develop their socialisation and interpersonal skills, providing them with tools for self-reflection, especially in moments of distress and situations of crisis. These skills will be crucial to them in their adolescence as well. The CaRe4Y project as a model will be extended to other vulnerable social groups, too, for example, displaced persons due to Russia’s invasion in Ukraine.
