Don’t you have a fully equipped kitchen yet? Up to now it has always been said: on-site kitchens need more space, are too expensive and, in general, who will then take care of day-to-day operations?
We advise municipalities, schools and daycare centers on developing sustainable catering concepts. After analyzing the models of the best daycare and school kitchens in Germany, we know how these processes can be transferred to other locations.
We take care of all services from project development to planning the kitchen, financing, tendering, finding pedagogically trained kitchen staff, establishing delivery partnerships with regional organic vegetable producers right up to commissioning.
What is different from your previous serving kitchen? It’s about more than just food: it’s freshly cooked and the children experience self-efficacy because they’re part of the kitchen team. Last but not least, food from a local kitchen tastes much better for everyone and doesn’t cost more than food delivered.
Good cooking skills, flexible meal planning in cooperation with the nearest garden center, the participation of children in the garden and kitchen, atmosphere and time play an important role. On this basis, we develop a concept tailored to your facility that includes everyone: children, young people, parents and your team.
