The „Baltic smart village model” project aims to test and develop different models of a smart village in the Baltic Sea region context that will improve competitiveness and attractiveness of rural areas and create favourable conditions for local businesses. The project will increase the potential of rural regions by making use of their local strengths to expand existing or developing new economic activities. By supporting local economic activities, the project will not only contribute to strengthen economic resilience of non-urban areas, but also create more vibrant, attractive and sustainable rural regions.
Partners needed: local authorities willing to develop and test smart villages approach, supporting institutions with expertise in rural areas innovation.
