Baltic GNSS Infrastructure Platform
active 3 days, 20 hours agoIn the Baltic region (Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia), the provision of high-precision surveying, geodetic and geospatial data is essential for the development of infrastructure, construction, transport, environmental monitoring and digital transformation. However, the current coverage and technical capacity of GNSS base stations in the region are uneven, in some areas outdated, and do not fully meet modern requirements for accuracy, security and accessibility.
The objective of the project is to establish a modern, interoperable and sustainable GNSS base station network across the Baltic region, providing high-precision surveying services in real time and post-processing, in line with harmonised technical and data exchange standards.
