Personal description | The Lifelong Learning Center is a structural subdivision of Ventspils University of Applied Sciences the purpose of which is to offer every resident of the Kurzeme region the possibility of lifelong education, increasing or changing people qualifications in accordance with the requirements of the labor market and their interests and needs, increasing the intellectual potential of people in Ventspils, Kurzeme and Latvia, providing knowledgeable and creative-minded specialists for the national economy. The Lifelong Learning Center of the Ventspils University of Applied Sciences offers a wide range of language courses – Latvian, English, German, Russian, Swedish, Norwegian, French, Chinese, Spanish and others, as well as preparatory courses for the state school exams for pupils, professional development programs, for example, safety and labor protection, also non-formal educational programs aimed at both professional and personal development. |
