I am a drone specialist of 10 years and I've recently moved to Bornholm, Denmark. I am working with local groups to determine how aerial drones can play a part in the growth of Baltic Sea infrastructure, environmental monitoring and security needs. The offshore development will require signifcant advancements in technology to be able to effectively accomodate the transition, both towards renewables but also away from traditional hydrocarbon sources. The UAV industry has been responsible for a signifcant reduction in emissions through replacing crewed aviation in a variety of scenarios.
