Profile

I am an associate professor at Water and Environmental Engineering Group at the Faculty of Science and Technology (RealTek). My research activities within the Resource Recovery Research Group are in two main lines: 1. Wastewater / bio-waste management technologies for circular economy: I work on nutrient recovery and wastewater treatment using biochar technologies. I am also interested in energy recovery using anaerobic digestion and bioelectrochemical methods for wastewater treatment. 2. Biobased fertilizers for sustainable agricultural production: I work with bio-based fertilizers such as biochar, which are the resulting product of resource recovery technologies.
