Profile

I am the CEO and entrepreneur of Kaupunkitutkimus TA Oy – Urban Studies TA Ltd in Finland, with a PhD in Gender Studies (2010) and a master's degree in sociology and 20 years of experience from various positions in service of higher education and research. My particular passion is connecting humanities and social sciences research to practical societal purposes. I have a strong academic background in interdisciplinary social sciences and qualitative methods with focus on transnational phenomena and social change and extensive experience in strategic research management and operational implementation in dialogue with multiple stakeholders. While I was not myself involved with the project, my company was a partner in "BSR Access" during programme period 2014-2020.
