Personal description

The municipality of Biesiekierz is located in West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Koszalin County. It is an area famous for the largest potato statue in the region (over 9 meters). It has many natural monuments. A blue tourist trail runs through the commune. The municipality is located along the national road E-28 (expressway E-6), a road of international character – it connects Berlin with Gdansk and Königsberg. The northwestern border of the municipality runs parallel to the coastline of the Baltic Sea at a distance of 12-15 km. We want to engage in partnership projects, among which priority should be given to comprehensive activities that, by solving barriers and bringing sectoral benefits together, implement policies for social and economic growth while bringing together different communities and residents in natural partnerships for development. Potential project areas include: sustainable development, local community activation and development of professional public services, knowledge and technology transfer (including in the area of energy efficiency solutions, e.g., renewable energy sources), ICT and social digital society, agriculture, rural and peripheral development, cultural heritage. We are ready and open to cooperation with partners from the entire Baltic Sea region.
