CITIZENS WATER GAMIFICATION SOCIAL INNOVATION IN WATER SERVICE

As part of the Interreg BSR priority, Consortium plans to implement new ways of providing public services with the use of innovative, knowledge-based and participatory tools for improving the lives of citizens. Thanks to an unconventional approach to services, costs and bureaucracy will be reduced, and the efficiency of public administration will increase. The project will involve citizens in the process of transforming public services provided by the company in order to develop common standards and create solutions that can be implemented in other entities of a similar nature in the area of the program.
As part of the project, we will create IT-tools supporting billing processes and improving the management of water consumption between the companies and citizens, which will also perform educational functions by collecting and presenting statistical data using the gamification idea.
Further, purchases of new generation water meters will take place and a modern platform for communication with citizens will be developed, and the project will prepare and introduce educational and promotional activities introducing gamification among users of public water comapnies services.
