Hello All,
We are searching for an applicant for our core project called BUNDLE.
BUNDLE
Problem
Startups in the Baltic Sea region can already access plenty of public grants in their countries to start their business and validate their initial proof of concept. However, the most common reason for startups’ failure in their growth phase is the inability to raise further private capital from foreign investors in other EU countries.
Combined with the limited availability of private capital in the Baltic Sea region, this is due to the lack of knowledge, contacts and tools that local incubators and business support agencies have to connect startups with investors outside their own countries.
This factor limits their internationalization potential, as local startups in the Baltic Sea region are unable to access lucrative foreign markets, gain more customers, create more jobs and scale their operations to achieve truly global reach.
Solution
The BUNDLE project aims to bridge the gap between startups in the Baltic Sea region and investors from other EU countries. It will leverage a transnational Training-Business-Finance collaboration among:
2 VET providers in Finland and Norway
4 incubators and business support agencies in Finland, Estonia, Poland [one more business support agency to be recruited from the Baltic region].
1 business angels network in [to be recruited from the Baltic Sea region] that can access thousands of early-stage investors all across Europe.
The core objective of the project is to make startup founders in the Baltic Sea region investment-ready for global markets. The project will help them develop winning fundraising campaigns and secure private capital from European investors in countries other than the Baltic Sea region.
The project will have the following specific objectives:
Training: Develop and pilot one private investments training program for Baltic Sea region incubators and business support agencies to build capacity of local startup founders in raising private investments from other EU countries.

Business: Develop and pilot one EU-wide matchmaking platform to connect Baltic Sea startup founders with foreign acceleration programs that will prepare them to raise private investments in other EU countries.

Finance: Organise four international competitions for Baltic Sea region startup founders to pitch a pool of early-stage investors all over the EU.
